Some of you were pretty young in 1994, but if you are from Wien you will probably recognize yourself or some of the folks in the YouTube video graciously suggested by Charlie Walden of the Missouri Fiddlers Association. Once you are on YouTube, you can search or click on Charlies's name to see similar videos. ENJOY!!! And Many Thanks to Charlie Walden!! Jam Session and Dance at Wien

The Wien Cemetery Board (Larry Noll, John Earl Noll, J.D. Bertsch, and Kenny Huber)in coordination with some dedicated Wien residents have completed the large entry sign for the cemetery. Summer is gone and we have enjoyed again the blessings of the School Reunion in June and the Wien Picnic in August. What a wonderful time to connect with friends and family. It's not too early, though to mark your calendars for next year's events. In 2016 the School Reunion will again be held on the first Sunday in June (June 5, 2016). Thanks so much to John Earl Noll for instituting this fine tradition. It will be a 50 year celebration for the Class of 1966! Be sure to make your plans now to attend the carry-in meal at the multi-purpose building. Mark your calendars and join us for a good meal and friendly faces. The doors open at 10:00 a.m.

Mark your calendars also for the Wien Picnic on the first Sunday in August---that's August 2, 2015!

Many thanks to Leah Murphy of Chicago for suggesting a geneological link that you can use to find out more information about ancestors who might have served in the military. The new link is: http://www.justmilitaryloans.com/military-genealogy. This link will also be added to the geneological links page.

Please contact me if you have any questions or anything which we can help you discover about your Wien connections. Wishing you many Blessings!

Thanks for Visiting!
